Currently my wife and I live in a Palestinian refugee-camp in Lebanon. The camp is named Mar Elias, and it is the smallest one of the twelve official camps here. At daytime I work in Mar Elias as a Physiotherapist, and my wife is studying the Palestinian way of life -she is to write a thesis about the refugees for her Master degree in Social Anthropoligies in Oslo.
The purpose of why I publish my small stories, is to show you a different point of view about what concerns the everyday life in the Palestinian refugee camp I now live in (as well as its surrounding areas). You might know something about their situation from the media, but you may not know who the people really are, how they live and how they find a meaning with their lives. I can’t tell you all this either, but I will try to publish small stories reflecting some of it, and by this, may establish a new insight about the issue for the reader. Some will be published in English, but preferrably I’ll write in the Norwegian language.
Also, you are able to ask me questions about anything in the “communication between you and me” – menu (politics, training, physiotherapy, faith, happenings from your life etc.).

Koselig å lese din lille historie og jeg tror jeg skjønte det meste, selv på engelsk.
I dag er det tirsdag og jeg skal snart på hjertesvikttrening. Etter jobb er det aerobic så da skulle det holde for i dag. Førstkommende fredag er det boller med krem i lunchen. Anne Lise ergo og jeg har bursdag henholdsvis 6. og 14. feb og pleier å spleise på bursdagsgodt. 14.febr. er det i tillegg Valentinday så da må du huske å gi din kjære blomster.
